About ACIA

The Association of Chinese Internal Auditors (ACIA), established in 2009 by a group of Chinese Internal Audit professionals. The full Members are the qualified Certified Public Accountants and Certified Internal Auditors in Hong Kong, while the affiliate members are mainly the qualified Chartered Company Secretaries, Chartered Governance Professionals, practicing Lawyers and other professionals.

The main goals of ACIA :-

1. To Promote the role of Internal Audit functions and status of Internal Auditors in the Hong Kong society.

​

2. To Promote the academic research in upgrading the practices of Internal Audit in HK.

​

3. To Provide advises and aids to Organisations on the Internal Controls Review and Risk Management.

​

4. To provide Continuous Professional Development Training to Internal Auditors and organize relevant courses, exams and certification to person who interested to pursue the career in Internal Audit.

Under the pandemic of COVID-19, most physical activities of ACIA  have to be suspended, but ACIA still provided over 12 free Continuous Professional Development CPD seminars via online ZOOM mode to our members and affiliate members during the period of 2021 , the top three webinars namely :
